Role Overview: The New Patient Scheduler is patient-centered who possesses a concierge approach. Our ideal candidate will embody warmth, friendliness, and engagement while maintaining professionalism, respect, and courtesy

Required: Bilingual. Read, write, & speak Spanish.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule new patients for initial evaluations in physical therapy.
  • Answer multiple phone lines and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Schedule incoming patient referrals.
  • Maintain and update information on providers’ schedules.
  • Ensure accuracy of patient data entered in the EMR system.
  • Assist with Check-in/Check-out duties as needed.
Requirements:

  • Bilingual. Read, write, & speak Spanish.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an outpatient medical office setting.
  • Professionalism and exceptional phone etiquette.
  • Ability to handle a heavy phone call volume.
  • Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Previous experience with EMR systems.
  • Familiarity with insurance verification and eligibility.
  • Strong critical thinking skills for cross-referencing provider schedules.
